David Arquette Heads Out on the Town in "Great Spirits"

Newly single David Arquette had a fun weekend celebrating one his new projects with pal Jeff Beacher, Beacher’s Madhouse, at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

“David was in great spirits, with an ear-to-ear grin all night long and like most of the party-goers, was spotted dancing much of the night — at times even on stage with the performers,” an eyewitness tells OK! of the recently separated Scream 4 actor.

Celebrating both the new joint and 90210 stars Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes' birthdays, David seemed to be happier than ever with a plethora of candy to go around.

A partygoer tells OK!, “David was so happy he was like a kid in a candy store, and the theater looked almost like a candy store, with Sugar Factory candy everywhere!”

The dad of one even presented a cake to the birthday girls to go along with the performances of the night, including burlesque dancers, panda bears, and giant bunnies entertaining guests.

“David and Jeff presented the girls with a giant cake on the stage — and a performer jumped out of the cake,” to end off the night, sponsored by Sugar Factory and Samsung Galaxy S.
