It’s been a big summer for David Beckham, who lit up Los Angeles when he made the move to Tinseltown with wife Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham to play for the local soccer team the L.A. Galaxy. And while some have accused the sports legend of playing more celebrity parties than soccer matches, it’s now David’s turn to show Hollywood just how good he is.
On November 4, David and his Galaxy teammates will take to the field to face a squad that calls itself “Hollywood United FC,” and is comprised of stars from TV, movies and music. Without a Trace‘s Anthony LaPaglia and Heroes hunk Jimmy Jean-Louis head up this celeb-filled team.
Money raised from the event will go to both The American Red Cross and the Salvation Army to help those families devastated by the recent wildfires in Southern California.
