David Boreanaz Says His 2010 Affair Was "A Bonding Experience" With His Wife

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger." That seems to be the mind-set David Boreanaz and his wife, Jaime Bergman, had about his 2010 affair, as the Bones actor says it was "a bonding experience" for them!

Not all couples split because of scandal and David is proof of that.
David and Jaime have been married since 2001 and have two children together, Jaden, 9, and Bella, 2. But in 2010, David engaged in an extramarital affair that made headlines.
In a new interview with TV Week, the Bones star speaks out on the scandal and how it made his relationship with Jaime stronger.
He said it was "a bonding experience, in the long run."

"In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive," David, 42, explains (via E! News). "There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you."

But David says his marriage was worth fighting for.
"Do I believe in giving up? No, I don't," he says. "I'm a fighter. I'm a lover."
