On Showtime's Californication, David Duchovny's character, Hank Moody, tries to restrain himself when it comes to his unsuppressible appetite for sex with beautiful women. Now in a bizarre real-life twist, David himself is dealing with his own sexual issues.
In a statement released yesterday by David's lawyer, Stanton "Larry" Stein, he says, "I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
