
David Letterman Plans to Renew His Contract at CBS

Despite a bit of controversy stemming from a sex scandal over at CBS, David Letterman’s job is not at stake as the late night talk show host plans to renew his contract for another two years according to new reports.
Radar Online confirms that David will be extending his contract for the Late Show with David Letterman until the fall of 2010, and both parties plan to sign the agreement quickly, within the next week.

Even his late night companion, Craig Ferguson, who comes on after David’s show, will take his contract into 2010, as well, according to Radar Online.
But while everything seems to be going smoothly over at CBS, thing seem a bit shakier at NBC.
Amidst rumors of his termination, Jay Leno pokes fun at David’s scandal.
“That means I didn't sleep with my staff for nothing!” Jay jokes while clearing up claims that he was fired from the Jay Leno Show, Radar Online reports.
