Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott is currently recovering from a punctured, collapsed lung in an L.A.-area intensive care unit after the reality star endured a recreational dirt bike accident Tuesday.
"He's expected to make a full recovery," the couple's rep told E! News, adding that Dean will remain laid up in the ICU "for a few more days."
Dean, 43, crashed on a dirt bike trail earlier this week while riding for fun with a couple of friends.
The dad felt up to filling fans in with the following Tweet this afternoon:
Tori, who has had fights with Dean on the couple's reality show over his reckless hobby — has yet to the address the issue on her Twitter.
In fact, the mother of two has been Tweeting regularly since her hubby's accident, but only reported on her three-year-old Liam's medical condition.
"Liam woke up from nap with a red rash covering both sides of his face. Really bizarre! He says nothing hurts. On way to dr now," Tori Tweeted yesterday.
The concerned mom followed up with fans after the doctor's visit.
"Liam's ok. Dr said its heat rash. Can happen when they sleep from sweating."
Maybe Tori will address Dean's injury on national TV? Let's hope both McDermott men make a full recovery!
