Couple time isn’t easy for Deborah Cox, 33, and her hubby of nine years, Lascelles Stephens, to find.
The parents of Isaiah, 4, and Sumayah, 1, recently spent quiet time in the bedroom drinking wine and catching up on movies they hadn’t yet seen, including Blood Diamond.
“We’re good together because we communicate,” Deborah tells me. “We have the art of communication. We know each other’s rhythm. We’re the yin and the yang; we respond to each other; we tell each other how we really truly feel. We’re honest with each other. We don’t play any games. We work together, so we’re always together 24/7. We know how to put on different hats and keep it fresh.”
