Demi Lovato Shares Her Recovery in MTV Documentary 'Stay Strong'

Demi Lovato isn't afraid to share her story with millions of viewers, which is why MTV is airing a new documentary that shines a light on her recovery over the past few months.
Demi Lovato: Stay Strong will air on MTV on Tuesday, March 6 at 10 p.m. and will give viewers an inside look into Demi's life since she left a treatment facility last year for personal issues including depression and bulimia. The special shows Demi confronting her problems and working through them as she kick starts her career and heads out on tour.

"I wanted to share my story, but I knew it had to be honest, it had to be real," Demi said in a statement. "I have daily challenges, but so do many kids who are struggling to feel comfortable in their own skin. If opening up and sharing my story inspires even one person to stay strong or to get the help they need, I've succeeded."

Fans will get to see Demi spend time with her family and friends in Dallas, Texas, as well as travel back the rehab facility she stayed at in Illinois.
"I'm not fixed. This is a daily battle," Demi says in the trailer for the special. "But I continue to work my butt off because now I want to be a legitimate role model."
