Demi Lovato Ventures Out Into Public

Almost two months since Demi Lovato headed into treatment to recover from certain personal issues, the Disney star has appeared in public with her family, according to a new report.

E! News says the starlet, who recently settled with her former back-up dancer after allegedly punching her in the face, was photographed by National Photo Group in Chicago at the Hollywood Blvd. Cinema, Bar & Eatery movie theater parking lot.

She was hanging out with her family, "sporting dark shades, a leopard print coat, black clothing and black boot, dark nail polish and lipstick, and holding what appeared to be a cup of tea or coffee."

The trip is a result of a holiday weekend pass, says E!, allowing her some time outside the Illinois center where she is undergoing treatment from "emotional and physical issues."
