Demi signed on to Very Good Girls and will play Elizabeth Olsen's mom. Not just any ol' mom, mind you. Demi's character is a hippie with an incredible braid draped down the back of her head. Yes, she plays the type of mom who wants her kids to call her by the first name, as reported by E! News.

Dustin Hoffman, Sissy Spacek, and Peter Sarsgaard (Maggie's hubby) will also feature in the movie, which is supposed to start shooting in a few weeks in NYC.
