With the recent departure of Charlie Sheen from Two and a Half Men, ex-wife Denise Richards weighed in on what she thinks of the CBS sitcom’s new cast addition, Ashton Kutcher.
“I think Ashton is going to be great,” Denise gushed to reporters on Sunday in L.A., adding, “Nobody can replace Charlie. The show was written for him and he was so brilliant at it, but I think the creators of the show are very brilliant and the show is very well written so I think Ashton will make it his own.”

Although Charlie held the lead role in the comedy since its start in 2003, Denise believes that Ashton will be wonderful in the 45-year-old’s absence.
“Many actors have replaced someone. I am sad to see him, Charlie, not on the show, but it is what it is,” the Wild Things star told reporters at the Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival to Benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. “I think Ashton would do a great job.”
Denise had a fun time making her own cameo appearances on Two and Half Men, once in 2003 and again in 2004 as character Lisa, but explained to OK! that she doesn’t think she will coming back to the series for round three.
