What do you do when you're in the spotlight and have two young daughters and a famous bad boy for an ex-husband? If you're Denise Richards, you do just about everything you can to shield them from Charlie Sheen's wild partying stories in the news.

Denise told PopEater, "I don't want them to know what happened." In fact, after a recent trip to NYC, she and Charlie took the girls shopping and to Broadway to see Mary Poppins. As far as their daughters were concerned, they knew nothing about his "extracurricular" activities at the Plaza Hotel.

Keeping a lid on it is easier, she says, because they are at a young age (5 and 6), and don't have instant access to the internet. She adds, "I definitely can keep control over what's going to be on television. They can't just get on the internet. I'm so grateful they're still young enough to not know what's going on."
