First off, Matt Lauer made sure to congratulate Denise on her new adoptive daughter Eloise and ask how her other two daughters with Charlie are adjusting to their baby sister.
"They are so excited and feel so blessed," Denise said on Today. "They love feeding her and changing her. We're very happy."
In her new memoir, Denise says she had to go back in and change parts of her book during Charlie's "Tiger Blood" phase. But Denise does not bash her ex in the book.
"Well, everyone asks me why I married him, which I get into in the book," Denise said. "And the man I fell in love with is very compassionate, humble, has a wonderful heart and the behavior that a lot of us saw in the last six months is not the person I met and fell in love with."

But Denise does worry about Charlie's health and safety.
"Of course. He's the father of our daughters and I still care very much for him and want him well," she later added about her ex. "But he's also a survivor and if anyone can pull themselves together, it's Charlie."
