A cancer-stricken Dennis Hopper has been ordered to pay his estranged wife Victoria Duffy-Hopper $12,000 per month in spousal and child support, the Associated Press reports. He must also provide a place for her to live on his property.
A judge in L.A. handed down the order yesterday to the veteran Hollywood actor, who is said to be severely ill with prostate cancer. The amount is split into $8,000 per month in spousal support and $4,000 for his 7-year-old daughter, Galen.

Judge Amy Pellman also encouraged Dennis, who was not in court, and Victoria to reconcile their differences for the sake of Galen.
"Having her extended family in a war with her mother is not in her best interests," Pellman said.
Dennis recently ventured into public to attend the dedication of his star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
