Entertainment Weekly is reporting that a major character will meet her or his end on an upcoming episode of the ABC show, which is in its final season. How does EW know this? The cast was spotted filming the untimely death scene in Burbank, Calif., today!

Allegedly, the cast just learned about the shocking death themselves, although the network won't spill any details aside from the fact that the game-changer will air sometime in March. So who will it be: Bree (Marcia Cross), Susan (Teri Hatcher), Lynette (Felicity Huffman), Gabrielle (Eva Longoria), Renee (Vanessa Williams), Carlos (Ricardo Chavira), Mike (James Denton) or Tom (Doug Savant)?

Well, what we do know is the series finale is set to be a big one. Desperate Housewives' creator Mark Cherry and his team have already admitted that they don't want to wrap things up completely. “We don’t want to tie up every loose end,” executive producer Bob Daily told EW. ”We want it to look like life goes on, on Wisteria Lane.”
