In a statement last week, Dexter star Michael C. Hall announced that he is undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. But that didn't keep the star and executive producer of the hit Showtime crime drama from coming out to Sunday's Golden Globes ceremony, where he won Best Actor, TV Drama for his title role as the sleuthing serial killer.
"I had every intention of keeping it quiet," he told reporters at the Globes about his decision to go public with the news about his cancer. "But because award shows were imminent, I had to make a statement."

About black knit cap he sported during the ceremony, Michael joked, "It's nice to have an excuse for accessorizing."
Michael is also expected to attend the upcoming Screen Actor's Guild awards, where he is once again a nominee.
