After the buzz started building this weekend that Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Justin Gaston had called things quits, E! News is now reporting that the couple is in fact finished after 9 months together.
A source tells E! that Miley broke it off last week as she was getting ready to leave L.A. for Savannah, Ga., where she'll be shooting The Last Song for two months. The source adds that both Miley and Justin are heartbroken, as evidenced by both their sad Twitter posts recently.

So what's at the center of the split? It could be Miley's ex, Nick Jonas, who Miley has been spending a lot of time with.
"She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot and Justin was cool with it at first – as long as it was just a cool friendly thing," a pal tells E!. "She didn't cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time."
Miley's camp has stayed mum for the time being on this one.
