Disney Warns LAPD About Obsessed Miley Cyrus Fan

After a 53-year-old fan obsessed with Miley Cyrus was arrested in Georgia, Disney took it upon themselves to also warn the LAPD about the man who says Miley sends him "secret messages" through her TV show, TMZ reports.Mark McLeod was taken into custody in Tybee Island, Ga. forr disorderly conduct on June 23. According the police report, he claimed he was "great friends with Miley" -- and that Miley had "told him to come see her today."

Cops say McLeod also said, "I will f***ing be with Miley ... we're supposed to be together and the cops couldn't stop it, and that he'd mailed two diamond rings to the Hannah Montana star, ranting that "Miley is only with the Jonas brother for the press."

Disney called the LAPD to keep them informed; so far there is no active investigation by the LAPD into McLeod but they are aware of the situation.
