Everyone from Dita Von Teese to Elizabeth Taylor showed up to last night's Macy's Passport Gala 2007 Fashion for Compassion event in Santa Monica celebrating $25 million raised for HIV/AIDS agencies in 25 years. The stylish burlesque star Dita Von Teese told OK! her reasons for performing at the event: "I'm performing tonight because I love keeping the art of burlesque alive. I'm overwhelmed about meeting Elizabeth Taylor. I admire her. I'm nervous. She's a living legend!"
And for those of you who thought everyone has abandoned ship on Britney Spears, her former chereographer Brian Friedman told OK!, "I'm not in contact with her right now but I hope in the future."
But Britney wasn't the only hot topic on the red carpet. OK! caught up with Emmy Rossum, who is releasing her first album this fall, and asked her about the state of her love life with the music producer she was linked with. Her response, "No comment."

Finally, OK! chatted with former View co-host Debbie Matenopoulos who seemed thrilled about the current View lineup. "The ratings are crazy! Whoopi's just as outspoken as Rosie but her delivery's different. She's great. I've always loved her," she told OK!
