Doctors Order Nick Cannon to Leave Radio Show

Nick Cannon was recently hospitalized for kidney failure, but he's not out of the woods yet. After revealing he had blood clots in his lungs and enlarged ventricle in the right side of his heart, this morning Nick announced he's leaving his daily radio show in NYC!

NEWS: MARIAH CAREY ON NICK CANNON'S RECOVERY — "THANK YOU, JESUS" In a statement, he indicated, "Under doctor's orders, I have been asked to cut back on some of my professoinal commitments to allow my body to get the rest it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule." He added, "Even Superman has to sleep." Although he's leaving his show on WXRK (92.3 FM), Nick's keeping his syndicated radio show Cannon's Countdown and America's Got Talent on NBC. OK! NEWS: NICK CANNON RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL AFTER "MILD KIDNEY FAILURE" According to GossipCop, the radio station wished Mariah Carey's husband well, and that they "have nothing but respect and understanding for Nick's decision to step down from his day-to-day position."
