DVR THIS: DANCE WAR: BRUNO VS. CARRIE ANN
Jan. 7 2008, Published 12:00 p.m. ET
Back in the day, men used to settle a dispute by getting their boogie on in the streets (West Side Story and Michael Jackson's "Bad," anyone?). Now Dancing With the Stars’ vocal judges, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba, will get their chance to work it out on the new series Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann, premiering tonight on ABC. They’ll each create their own singing and dancing super group to compete against one another, and let America decide who belongs on top. “We have auditioned across the country and found some incredible talent,” Carrie Ann tells me. “Instead of sitting behind the podium, we'll be in the rehearsals with the kids, working our groups nonstop.” Hope those kids don’t need to sleep or eat! The 40-year-old dancer-turned-mentor says the most important objective for her group is “doing our best to make something we can be proud of.”

Better be careful Carrie Ann. Knowing Bruno, he’ll be all about copping that trophy!
