Ever watched a magic trick, scratched your head and yelled, “How they’d do that?”
Time to rest easy. My Network TV has launched a new series, Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed.
Each week, the Masked Magician will pull off a “oh, no he didn’t” illusion before flipping the camera and showing how it’s really done.
No magic trick would be complete without a dedicated assistant. The MM has four. Lucky!
I decided to break out my own magic stick and bring you the scoop on the beauties behind the unbelievable. Presto!
Samantha Faye Lee. The Huber Heights native calls herself the mom of the group. “I deal with a lot of the work-related stuff: making sure we gals get our hours right,” she says. Sam gets on a little magic action of her own when she and the rest of her crew saw the Masked Magician in half. “It’s scary, even to watch,” she exclaims. And if someone is hurt in the process? She’s got that too. “I’m always reminding them to get some arnica gel to take care of any bruises and bumps,” says Samantha. “I’m a nurturer.”
Lauren Melendez. This assistant admits she's a self-proclaimed klutz. “I would be walking onto set ready to give a sultry look, and I would trip over my own feet.” Lauren was initially shocked by her lack of wardrobe for the series, but realizes, “when you’re maneuvering around in a small box with knives going through it, it kind of makes sense not to have a lot of extra material.”
Lyndsay Haldorson. The transplant from a small town outside of Chicago is Revealed’s sassy diva. “They make me the sexpot,” exclaims Lyndsay, who also sings and dances in a Burlesque-style girls group. She admits she has a little bit of ‘tude, but it’s totally warranted. “You’re poked, prodded and shoved in tiny spaces,” Lyrndsay says. “And they like to chop me in half,” Her cure for dealing with the inevitable cuts and bruises? “They say eat lots of bananas for the potassium.”

Allie Cohen. The Agoura, Calif., native, who has danced with Carmen Electra, Sean Kingston and Hilary Duff, is the youngest assistant and considers herself the group’s comedienne. “I crack everyone up on set,” Allie says. A little laughter does come in handy when you’re stuck inside a magic box, Allie explains. “I freestyle little songs, like about sweating inside a small box for a long time, to make time go by fast while we’re waiting,” she laughs.
