DVR THIS: Ugly Betty

It won’t be long before Betty and Henry are back on the romance track (I’m going to keep saying it till it’s true!), so it’s time for another executive assistant to find love in Mode’s halls. And the lucky recepient of a little office romance is none other than Marc! He’ll fall right over his Prada loafers for Cliff, a chubby, charming photographer who joins Mode and trains his camera lens on Wilhelmina’s fashionably devoted subordinate. “Expect a lot of lustful looks between Mark and I as we work together,” says David Blue who joins the cast tonight in the role. Unlike Betty’s desperate attempts to fit in with her Mode colleagues, David reveals the show’s cast welcomed him with open arms. That includs America Fererra, who stars as the show’s namesake and could rightfully be a major diva with the stack of trophies she’s won for her portrayal. David swears that’s not the case. “America was one of the first people to come over and introduce herself to me,” David shares. “It hasn’t gone to her head.” David also had kind words for Posh Beckham, who guest stars as herself in the Nov. 8 episode. “I didn’t work with her directly, but every single person I spoke with, from the makeup artists to the crew, was saying she is the sweetest, most beautiful person. I know,” David laughs, “you were looking for more dirt, right?” Nah, I’m sure mean Willie will come up with plenty when Posh steals the spotlight at the Wilhelmina and Bradford wedding. May the best pair of stilettoes win!
