With the excitement building over the upcoming, celeb-studded season of Dancing with the Stars, dancers and contestants alike are dishing on their athletic competition — and they say figure skater Evan Lysacek is the one to beat!
Although her husband Jonathan Roberts won't be returning as a professional dancer, Anna Trebunskaya is still excited to be paired with Olympic gold medalist Evan this time around.
“I am so excited. He is cute — I have a cute and golden boy type of partner,” Anna gushed to OK! at E!’s Oscar Party on Sunday.

“He is learning pretty quickly, but there are a lot of opposite things — like when he skates, everything is to the left, and a lot of our moves are to the right, so imagine Evan getting dizzy dancing,” Anna explains.
And even though the champion may be a bit dizzy in rehearsal, Edyta Sliwinska, who's partnered with soap star Aiden Turner, still thinks he is a big threat.
“People like Evan are going to have an advantage because you can see, even not being a professional dancer, he has these beautiful lines and does these beautiful spins and obviously that's going to translate onto the dance floor,” Edyta told reporters at Drai’s in Hollywood.

Even Aiden agrees that Evan is the one to watch during the competition.
“This season really has a lot of competition. It's a great boat of people. That's kind of scary! Maybe I should've done it last season,” Aiden says of his fellow dancers. He thinks Evan is especially talented, as he's "an Olympian medal skater. He knows how to hold his arms and move his hips.”
The first episode of Dancing with the Stars, including Kate Gosselin, Buzz Aldrin, Pamela Anderson, Jake Pavelka, Nicole Scherzinger, Chad Ochocinco and Erin Andrews, airs on Monday March 22 on ABC.
