It just wouldn't be a season of Dancing with the Stars without an injury, although this one didn't happen in rehearsals: Kathy Ireland received seven stitches in her leg after her partner, Tony Dovolani, told her to "go out and have fun," E! News reports.
However, Kathy didn't follow Tony's advice to its full extent, as he told her kids, "Make sure she doesn't do anything to injure herself."
The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model took son Erik surfing in Santa Barbara on Sunday, and, during a wave run, bashed her board against the side of her leg, splitting it open.

Luckily, Kathy's husband Greg Olsen is an ER doctor, and he just happened to be on duty to stitch his wife up.
We hope she rests up in time for the big premiere on Monday!
