“You know American Idol was the dream and is the dream for me. I'm going to take what the show has done for me and use it to start my career and I'm excited,” Jeremy gushed to OK! in L.A. after the show on Thursday night.
But, the judges wouldn’t let Jeremy go without a few words of advice for his budding career ahead.
“Randy told me to keep going and not to give up. Steven was a bit emotional; he just really hugged me and didn't have too many words,” Jeremy explained to reporters of the judges’ advice to him, “Jennifer Lopez has been behind me the entire way. Just to be able to say that… I have been crazy blessed and she came up to me tonight and told me she wanted to keep me. That makes you feel good inside, to know that she believes in you so much I am so grateful to her.”

OK! NEWS: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE REALITY SINGING SHOW?
Jeremy is definitely not happy to have to leave what he calls his “family,” but the singer knows that the rest of the contestants have what it takes to make it to the end of the competition.
“You know everyone is strong, and at this point there is so much talent that I have no clue who is going to win,” Jeremy said of his fellow cast mates, “They are all amazing and I love them.”
With a bit of downtime after the show, Jeremy joked of what he plans to do right after being eliminated.
“I think I'll cry a little more, I don't know. I'm going to go and pray and lay down. Maybe drink some juice, I love juice.”
