Elisabeth is feeling good these days. She's excited about the upcoming season of Mad Men and where her character Peggy will be heading on the show and she's enjoying the single life.

"I obviously want a partner in life, and I want someone to grow old with, but there's also a nice time when you're young to enjoy being you. It's fun to go out at night and not know what's going to happen," she tells Page Six. "I'm addicted to and obsessed with my freedom in that sense. I'm having fun!"

So, what did go wrong with her marriage to Fred?

"It's so hard to talk about," she says. "One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, 'He's so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.' To me, that sums it up."

"And I think that's... that's it," she adds. "I've never told anyone that. And I don't want to waste any more of my life talking about it."

Does she keep in touch with Fred?

"Oh, God, no."

You can watch Elisabeth back as Peggy in Mad Men on March 25 on AMC!
