Elizabeth Banks has Tweeted confirmation that she will be playing Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games!

Elizabeth announced the exciting news by playing a game with her followers.
"Guess who said this: 'I'm smiling at you even though you're aggravating me,' " Elizabeth Tweeted.
And once she got the answer she was looking for she wrote, "Yes! And I can now confirm I'm EFFIE TRINKET in @TheHungerGames. So excited!"

According to E! News, filming for the first installment is set to begin in late May.
So far, Elizabeth is joining Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Paula Malcomson and Willow Shields in the film.
Even though Elizabeth is very funny in real life, her character Effie is an OCD-type person who is all about etiquette.
