Dame Elizabeth Taylor is quite the techno-savvy lady -- so much so that she's taken to her Twitter page to let her fans know that she's going to the hospital for a heart procedure, instead of the old-fashioned way of releasing a statement via a publicist.
Her series of Tweets reads, in full:
"Dear Friends, I would like to let you know before it gets in the papers that I am going into the hospital to have a procedure on my heart.
