Those violet eyes, all of those husbands and oh yes, the beautiful bling! Merely three months have passed since the passing of Elizabeth Taylor but the iconic actress' sense of style lives on through her jewelry, fashion and works of art. In fact, her possessions will be placed on the auction block this December.

Christie's is preparing to devote its NYC headquarters to an unprecedented 10-day exhibition of her collection starting on December 3. According to Reuters, prior to the sale the collection will embark upon a three month global tour making stops in London, Geneva and Dubai, to name a few. To stay true to her philanthropic efforts, a portion of the proceeds from exhibition admissions events and publications stemming from the sales will be donated to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, an organization the legend founded in 1991.

Although details haven't been released yet surrounding the specific items which will be put on sale, we do know this: If past legendary auctions are any indication, the sales of her jewelry, haute couture, fashion accessories, decorative arts and memoribalia will fetch a whole lot of green.

As reported by Reuters, for instance, in 1993 Jacqueline Kennedy Oanassis' estate landed $35 million in sales from Sotheby's and a nine day sale of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor earned almost $25 million. At the time of her death, Elizabeth's jewelry alone was worth more than $100 million and her estate was valued between $500 million and $1 billion. Wow!
