Ellen DeGeneres Tries to Play Matchmaker for Cory Monteith & Taylor Swift

Glee hunk Cory Monteith has finally answered the question on everyone's mind — whether or not he is dating country sweetheart Taylor Swift.

“I don’t know where the time is to date these days,” the 29-year-old actor told Ellen DeGeneres on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show (via Access Hollywood) airing today.

Ellen became more specific with her question, asking the Canadian actor flat out if he is dating Taylor, 20.

“No, we’re just friends,” Cory explained.

Ellen joked, “It doesn’t seem like friends there," after showing a picture of the "pals" together.

“It’s cute,” Cory said. “She’s lovely.”

Ellen continued to call both stars "lovely people" hinting they should start a relationship.

“Stop it. Listen to her!” Cory said addressing the audience.

“Yeah listen to me,” Ellen said, adding, “Think about it!”
