Elton John Not Replacing Simon Cowell on 'American Idol'

We all want to know who's going to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol, but for now all we're going to get is who is not — Elton John!

Earlier today it was reported that Elton was the talk on set for American Idol's new judge, but Gossip Cop is now shooting that rumor down.

While Elton was a judge on Season 3, he won't permanently be judging the show.

A rep for Sir Elton told Gossip Cop exclusively, “He is not going to be a judge.”
