Emma Watson Eyes Ivy League Degree & Plans to Return to Brown Next Year

Harry Potter star Emma Watson may be in the thick of promoting her latest film but when it comes right down to it, she has school on the brain. She recently indicated she'll return to Brown University to finish her degree.

The actress also known as Hermione Granger on the big screen series told The Virginian-Pilot (via Huffington Post) that although she's currently enrolled at Brown, she plans to hit the books at Oxford University in England this coming fall.

As for her plans to return to the Ivy League school in Providence, R.I.? Well, that will occur in 2012. She took a break from Brown earlier this year in order to focus on the last Harry Potter film and other projects.

At a press conference in NYC, according to E! Online, Emma mentioned she's currently enrolled in her junior year. "I'll go back to the States to do my last year. I took a semester off, but my credits actually count as an advance, so I'm no further behind. I'm still technically going into my third year."
