Just hours after the A-list team-up had been announced, Enrique Iglesias reportedly pulled out of the Britney Spears North American tour.
Billboard.biz broke the news that Enrique bailed on Brit's tour, and as of now, tour promoter Live Nation has declined to comment on the matter, but a statement is expected to be released shortly.
Britney's tour was announced earlier today during singer's Good Morning America performance. Her highly-anticipated studio album Femme Fatale dropped today as well.
Enrique, who is currently on tour in Europe, was supposed to be Brit's heavy-hitting opening act on the tour, which starts in June in California.
The 29-year-old singer posted her summer concert plans on her official blog.
