Enrique Iglesias is gearing up for his highly-anticipated first bilingual album — releasing this summer — and couldn't be more excited about it. The Spanish pop singer already is an accomplished musician, but the bilingual approach is all new when it comes to his way of recording. Enrique spoke with PopEater about his new record, the Jersey Shore and the fever surrounding Justin Bieber.

"I don't want to say it's my best, but it is the most eclectic and the most exciting album I've done, I think, in my career," Enrique told PopEater of his new, first bilingual album. "It's so different from what I've done in the past —  every single song is like a different world."

Enrique's popular new single "I Like It" featuring Pitbull doubles as the lead single for his new record as well as the title song on the Jersey Shore soundtrack.

Enrique admits, however, he is not a fan of the show just yet, and feels MTV needs to play more music.

"Obviously it's got something that the kids are digging," Enrique told PopEater of the hit MTV reality show. "I'll get into it in the second season. I'm gonna see what all the hype is about, and Miami should be cool. It will be like, "Oh, I know that place. I've been there. It's kind of fun to see your own city on TV."

While he hasn't jumped on the Jersey Shore bandwagon just yet, Enrique admits he has some Bieber fever.

"He's everywhere. I've heard his music. I actually like that song he did with Ludacris ... 'Baby'? It's hooky. It's a hooky song," he said. "I think he's a talented kid."

But does the teen pop sensation/heartthrob/mogul have a future?

"It's so difficult to tell about the future. Judging by his talent, yeah, I think he has the ability. But will the kids be able to grow up with him as he moves on? It's all going to come down to the music he believes in. In this business, you're only as good as your last hit. As long as he keeps making really good hits, then yeah. It's a tough business — one day you're hot, the next day you're s**t."
