Jane by Design on ABC Family airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. beginning on January 3, and OK! got to speak exclusively with star Erica Dasher about the show and her guilty pleasures.
"The show is about a girl named Jane, a teenager who through a case of mistaken identity ends up working at this fashion house for Gray Chandler Murray, who is played by Andie McDowell," Erica explains. "She’s this sort of steely boss, but no one at the fashion company knows that Jane is actually still in high school, so she’s sort of leading a double life."
Why does Erica love being on the show? "Everyone wants to do a good job and loves the scripts. The fun we all have together will hopefully translate to the audience."
Acting with movie star Andie McDowell is a thrilling experience for Erica, who told OK! what she has learned most from the actress.

"I learned so much. I think because I grew up studying theater and one of the coolest things I’ve learned through Andie is she does something a little different every take. So especially working in comedy that’s something really to aspire to. It sort of throws on a different little button, tries out something new."

What show is her own guilty pleasure? Jersey Shore! "I did do the first season of Jersey Shore. I love. I think the first season of any reality show is always the best. They don’t know what they look like on camera yet and they haven’t really developed personas so the first season of any reality show is typically fun."
