Demi Moore had a haunted, faraway look in her eyes on July 11, during a break on the set of her new film, Very Good Girls.

The 49-year-old also appeared scary-skinny and haggard — exactly how she looked as she hit rock bottom in January, right before suffering a drug overdose. Now friends worry that Demi, suddenly estranged from her three daughters as well as distraught over seeing Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, is on the verge of a catastrophic relapse.
"In the past few months, her life has totally spiraled out of control," says a friend in her camp. "Demi is beside herself over her fractured relationship with her three daughters, and she's heartbroken that Ashton has fully moved on. She's isolated, frightened and lonely."
And all that sadness has been taking its toll physically.
"She looks awful," says the source. "She's barely eating and just guzzling Red Bulls throughout the day. She claims her nerves are so bad that she can't maintain a regular diet."

According to recent reports, Demi hasn't spoken to her beloved daughters Rumer, 23, Scout, 21, and Tallulah, 18, in weeks.

"The girls are disgusted with their mom right now," says the source. "They're calling her an embarrassing freak for the way she's been behaving lately. They think she's made a mockery of their family with her drug woes and erratic behavior.
The fact that Demi has been calling them constantly hasn't been helping matters.
"She's been acting crazy, calling the girls at all hours of the night and leaving rambling messages," says the insider.
