As Eva Mendes chatted to reporters about the new campaign for Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler, it was evident she prefers to be on Team Cute instead of Team Sexy. Although she's a smoldering angel in the campaign, Eva admits she would rather be cute because it's harder to be cute than sexy! Plus, she revealed that she's open to launching a singing career, mainly if it happens organically. Find out more after the jump!

Eva told reporters, "I’d rather be on team cute because I think it’s harder to be cute. I think when a guy pays me that compliment of being cute or adorable that feels like a real compliment." She added, "Because being hot I think is all smoke and mirrors. I mean at a certain point! I think it takes more personality to be cute so I think it’s more of a deeper compliment."

Although Eva is most known for acting (in her next project she teams up withBradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling for The Place Beyond the Pines), she actually got to sing in the Angel commercials. Not only was that a real treat for the star, it was extra special since this perfume means a lot to her. Eva explained, "When it came out I was still in school and my sisters had it so it's very nostalgic."

Even better, in the campaign itself Eva got to put her musical pipes to the test! She told OK! if a musical career happens organically she's definitely open to it. "I don’t even know what I’m doing this weekend so I wouldn’t say never."

She added, "I’m not a planner but certainly for this I got to work with the amazing John Bryant and "Windmills of Your Mind" is one of my favorite songs of all time. So it just happened to come together. I love with things come together organically like that. It makes it feel right versus something contrived."
