Ex-Beau of Alleged Tiger Mistress: "She Doesn't Have Her Head on Straight"

It's safe to say that Tiger Woods doesn't have a "type." When he met Elin Nordegren she was a Swedish au pair, so innocent-looking that she would make Mary Poppins seem a little sinister by comparison.

But OK! has learned that when the golf great first laid eyes on Mindy Lawton — one of the many women who have been alleged to have had affairs with Tiger — she was a deeply troubled individual, so unstable that she struggled to hold down a steady job.

Mindy, a 33-year-old from Orlando, met Tiger in the summer of 2006 when she came into a Perkins diner where she worked and was quickly swept into a passionate affair that lasted until the spring of 2007.

Her own sister, Lynn, has described Mindy as "extremely, extremely naive." But a source tells OK! that she had more serious problems than that.

"She's very, very weak-minded and susceptible to anything that anyone would say," said the source, who dated Mindy for nearly a year. "That was one of the reasons that we separated."

"She can rarely hold down a job. She'd go missing for days at a time," he added.

Her ex adds that, after he and Mindy had gone their separate ways, he'd heard through mutual friends that she'd had a relationship with Tiger.

"I'd always questioned it a bit," he said, "with her being so susceptible and just saying whatever to make people like her. I couldn't see her being with him for that sort of amount of time because of her issues."

Adds the ex, "She's a beautiful woman, but she doesn't have her head screwed on straight."
