Fact Or Fiction: Do Nicole's Kids Call Her "Mommy"?

Nov. 29 2007, Published 10:24 a.m. ET
Internet news sites and blogs around the world are publishing what they claim to be a quote from Nicole Kidman's interview with Web site www.GM.TV where the Oscar-winning actress not only says that her children don't call her "mommy," they also don't even use the word "mom" when talking to her, preferring instead to call her by her first name.
However, it appears that these sites have quoted a video without even watching it first. Because while Nicole, who has two children, Isabella, 14, and 12-year-old Connor with ex-husband Tom Cruise, does, indeed, say, "They don't call me mommy," when the interviewer asks her, "What do they call you?," the actress replies immediately by saying "Mom... or sometimes Nicole."
