Family & Fans Join to Remember the Late Tony Curtis

The beloved, legendary Hollywood actor Tony Curtis was buried today in a public funeral service in Henderson, Nevada. More than 400 celebrities, fans, friends and family members gathered to remember Tony, who died last Wednesday at the age of 85, and celebrate his life. His daughters Jamie Lee Curtis and Kelly Curtis held close to one another, and Jamie's daughter Annie Guest comforted her grieving mom during the touching ceremony.
According to a report released by PopEater, Tony was buried with his favorite possessions including a Stetson hat, an Armani scarf, driving gloves, an iPhone and a copy of his favorite novel, Anthony Adverse. His coffin was draped with an American flag.
The Oscar-nominated actor was known for his roles in the The Defiant Ones and Some Like It Hot, which he starred opposite the late, great actors Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon.

He died Wednesday at his home in Henderson, outside of Las Vegas, after suffering cardiac arrest.

The public funeral service was to be followed by a burial and then a reception for 200 invited guests at the Luxor hotel-casino on the Vegas Strip, according to PopEater.
A video montage of Tony's famous film roles opened the service.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger among other actors and celebrities attended the farewell.
