FARRAH FAWCETT ‘IN GOOD SPIRITS,’ DESIGNER SAYS

Designer Zang Toi once told me Farrah Fawcett was his muse during a Fashion Week show she attended. How is she doing in the wake of her cancer treatments? “She’s doing great,” Zang tells me at the Van Cleef & Arpels Une Journee A Paris fashion show Sept. 4. “I haven’t spoken to her for awhile. The last time I spoke to her was two months ago, and I just leave her messages every single week to tell her I’m thinking about her, I love her. She’s just like me – when we’re going through things, she wants to be alone. I respect that. All I can do is just leave her messages and tell her I love her and I’m thinking about her. I know as soon as she gets well, she’ll call me. The last time I spoke to her she was in good spirits.” Farrah, 60, was diagnosed with anal cancer in September 2006.
