Family and friends of actress Farrah Fawcett gathered Tuesday afternoon at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in L.A. for a private funeral to celebrate and honor the star, who lost her battle with cancer last week at the age of 62.

Actor Ryan O'Neal, Farrah's long-time love and father of her son Redmond O'Neal, was on hand for the ceremony and acted as a pallbearer as the TV star's casket was moved out of the church.
