Rosa Chá

Bryant Park

With Rosa Chá’s extraordinary line of bathing suits and cover ups, it was no wonder the boys came to enjoy the show. The likes of Keith Robinson, JC Chasez, Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford and Diana Ross’ son, Evan mixed and mingled. Evan who took time out from filming Greta with Hilary Duff to check out the show has also attended Baby Phat and just “getting into it.” As for his own style, he likes to layer. “I usually dress like it’s winter,” the Pride star said. “Everyone is always like what are you doing, but I like to be insides anyway.”

Ever the performer, JC was bopping in his seat to the music for the entire show. He told OK!, “There is great music when you are sitting watching the shows, the DJs are trying to spin something to get everyone excited.” This isn’t JC’s first fashion week as this is his favorite time to be in New York. “There are so many people walking around, the weather is finally cooling off, it’s great,” JC who is here on business said. As for the VMAs, he hopes Britney does well, and he will be watching it on TV like everybody else. The last cutie to chat with OK! was Chace Crawford who can be seen on the much already talked about show Gossip Girls. He told OK!, “It is going really well.” Being from Texas, he appreciates simplicity for both him and a girl when it comes to fashion. The blue-eyed actor says, “I like to go to the gym to work out and see girls that work out.” Being new to Fashion Week, Rosa Chá was his second show. His first was G Star. “It was so good,” the novice says. “I felt like I was in Zoolander. It was like a huge production.” And for his second show, girls in bathing suits aren’t half as bad either.

Adidas Y-3

Highline under 22nd Street

The Y-3 show proved to be anything but the norm in terms of location. Instead of having the show at the tents at Bryant Park or inside for that matter, this show took place between 10th and 11th avenues at 22nd street. Though the sun was shining making NYC a gorgeous 85 degrees, the rain was pouring at the highline. The walls were streaming with water and puddles covered the runway – or the pavement. With thunder sounds, the show was about to begin. Adidas really proved that it is more than an athletic line with this line of bags, sneaks, and clothing. Samuel L. Jackson, Mena Suvari with her extra-short hair, (she didn’t have a Britney moment, it is for a movie she just filmed,) LL Cool J who was seen licking those famous lips just as anyone would nod when he saw something he liked. Vincent Gallo even came out to play in the rain.
