The day is almost here! Kate Middleton made her final public appearance before her maternity leave this week when she christened a Princess Cruises ship with a giant bottle of champagne. Smashing, darling!

It's tough to imagine the prim princess breaking a sweat, never mind grunting and screaming and pushing a baby out, so it's not surprising to hear reports that she's terrified about giving birth shortly. Well, really, everyone should be terrified of giving birth, but Kate is reportedly planning an interesting way of dealing with it.

Sources tell PerezHilton.com that Kate is considering "hypnobirthing" to deal with the pain. Some women and other celebs have tried hypnosis techniques to handle child birth, like meditation and relaxation. Hey, deep breathing is nice and all, but when the time comes, we won't judge the gal for reaching for the epidural.
