Forbes magazine has released its highly-anticipated list of the top billionaires in the world, and Bill Gates isn't No. 1!
Carlos Slim Helu, from Mexico, is the richest man in the world, with a net worth of over $74 billion dollars, Forbes reports. This is the 71-year-old chairman of Telmez's second year at No. 1.
Forbes' list this year "broke records in size (1,210 billionaires) and total net worth ($4.5 trillion)."
Rounding out the top three were Americans Gates with $56 billion and Warren Buffet with $50 billion.
Moscow led the list with the most billionaires.
This year, there are 20 billionaires under age 40 who made the cut. And Mark Zuckerberg isn't the youngest billionaire anymore!
Mark came in as the second-youngest billionaire, worth $13.5 billion, but the baby billionaire title went to his Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz who is the youngest person on Forbes's billionaires list. Moskovitz was born eight days after Zuckerberg, his Harvard roommate.
