Former 'American Idol' Contestant Brittany Kerr Deletes Twitter Account After Jason Aldean Kiss

Although Jason Aldean publicly apologized to his fans on Facebook after cheating on his wife, Jessica Ussery, by smooching and flirting with Brittany Kerr, it turns out Brittany has taken to social media as well.

Check that — the former American Idol contestant has opted out of social media by deleting her Twitter account, per E! News. One site reported that Brittany didn't know Jason is married and would have "shut the whole thing down from the start" if she knew his status.

Plus, she issued an apology to one outlet: "The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part. I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends & family."

After grainy photos of their flirty night in a Sunset Strip club hit the web, the Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader reportedly was hit with a ton of online insults, resulting in her deleting her Twitter account.
