A week after comedic actor Fred Willard was arrested for lewd conduct in an L.A. adult theater, he appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to discuss the event and assert his innocence.
"Nothing happened. I did nothing wrong. Everything is being sorted out as we speak," he told Jimmy. "My summary of the whole evening was, 'It's an interesting theater, a boring movie and a great place to take a nap.'"
Fred joked he chose the Tiki Theater because he thought they may have hula dancers and Mai Tais.
"You know, let me say this: It's the last time I'm going to listen to my wife when she says, 'Why don't you go out to see a movie?'" he continued. "It's very embarrassing. It's embarrassing as hell."
The Trust Us With Your Life star lost his voice-over gig with PBS in the wake of the arrest, but assures us the "PG version" of what really happened will be common knowledge soon enough.
