Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon Pleads for Your Help in Haiti
Jan. 14 2010, Published 9:22 a.m. ET
Since the 7.0 magnitude struck Haiti on Tuesday, flattening buildings and leaving perhaps hundreds of thousands of people dead, injured and homeless, the Hollywood community has been active in reaching out to those in need. And now Haitian-born Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon is adding her voice to the efforts of the American Red Cross to seek help for the small island nation.
Garcelle, who has been unable to make contact with family members in Haiti since the catastrophe, stopped by the Entertainment Tonight set.
"ET and The Red Cross are household names. That those two can come together to help the victims of Haiti, that is tremendous and I am honored," Garcelle says.
"People follow Hollywood and if they support Haiti, I think a lot of other people will too."
