Gary Moore, Rock Legend, Dies at 58

Thin Lizzy guitarist, Gary Moore, passed away yesterday in Spain. The cause of death was not immediately known but he died in a hotel on Spain's Costa del Sol. He was 58.

According to The Huffington Post, Thin Lizzy drummer Brian Downey mentioned Gary's death was a "total shock." In addition, guitarist Scott Gorham said he was "a great player and a great guy."

Although Gary had a successful solo career, he was part of the Dublin-based band, Skid Row and also part of Thin Lizzy which dates back to the '70s. The band is known for global hits like The Boys are Back in Town and Whiskey in the Jar. In fact, the band continues to tour to this day but with different band members.
